Adding a menu within a product

Besides the possibility to customize the navigation bar and main menu of your MemBirds sites, there is also the possibility to add a menu within a product. This menu is therefore only visible for members when they access a certain product.

To set this up, go to Layout within a product. Here you choose the option "Page title and menu" or "Page header with menu". If you choose "Page title without menu" then obviously no menu will be displayed within the product.



Then go to the Menu setting. Here you can then add, remove or change the order of menu items.



If you want to add a new menu item, simply click on the "Create" button, after which a menu will appear on the right side of the screen. At "Label" you then enter the name of the item. The name you enter here is the name that appears in the menu bar.

Then, at "Link type", you determine where this menu item should link to. Here you can choose from the following options:

  • Internal link - With this you can then choose whether you want to link to a specific page within your MemBirds site.
  • External link - Add your own URL and link to an external page.
  • Home - Link to the homepage of your member site.
  • Product startpage - Link to the homepage you have set up for this product.
  • Course overview - Link to the overview page of all courses associated with the product.
  • Instructors - Link to the overview page of all instructors associated with the product.
  • Events - Link to the overview page of all events associated with the product.
