When you offer subscriptions products and one of your members cancels his/her subscription, they will be asked to provide a reason for cancellation.
By default, customers can choose from the the following cancellation reasons:
- No longer needed
- Too expensive
- Found something else
- No reason
- Other reason...
Because these reasons are fairly common, we have built in the possibility for you as a member site owner to modify these reasons for cancellation yourself. You can do this as follows:
Step 1: Go to Settings > Cancellation reasons
Step 2: Click "Add reason" and enter the reason for cancellation. You also have the option to add a text field in which the customer can leave an extra comment if they want. The moment you check "Reason is visible", customers can now select this reason when they cancel their subscription.
Step 3: Finally, you have the option to remove the cancellation reasons and to adjust the order in which they are displayed. In the GIF below you can see what that looks like in practice. In this overview you can also see how often a specific reason for cancellation has been selected by members.
