With our unique Compounder function you can increase the scarcity, urgency and social proof (as Robert Cialdini describes it in his book Influence) on your checkout page.
This allows you to set an automatic price increase after an X number of orders have taken place on your checkout page.
Eg: The first 5 customers can buy something from you for €100 and then the price is automatically increased to, for example, €150.
Or: After each order the price will be increased by €10.
How to set this up is as follows…
Go to the checkout page where you want to add the Compounder to and check the "Activate Compounder" option via the Compounder menu item.
Next, you can then set which products the Compounder should be applied to. On the products in the shopping cart, on the order bump(s) or on both?
Now it's time to set after how many orders the price will be increased and by what amount. At "Price increase for product with a one-time payment" you set the amount by which the price should be increased for a product with a one-off payment.
At "Price increase for products paid in installments" you enter the amount by which the installment amounts may be increased (if applicable). This works in a similar way with subscription products.
Finally, at "Increase price per number of orders" you determine per how many orders the price may be increased.
After you have done this click on Save and the Compounder will be active on your checkout page.
Good to know
- In this overview you can find at all times how often the price increase has been applied. As soon as this number is higher than 0, a reset button will also appear here, so that the original price can be restored if needed.
- If you want to show a pop-up notification in real time to visitors of your checkout page every time the price increases, please enable the "Live notifications" in the tab on the left hand side.
