This article explains step by step how you can create a new checkout page to sell your product.
Step 1: Before we start creating the page, it is important that you add a price to the product you want to offer. You can do this by going to the Product > Prices > Here you add different pricing options: One-off payment, installments or offer a subscription.
Step 2: Go to "Shop", click on "Create checkout" and add a name for this checkout page.
Next, there are several elements that you can set.
Cart
Here you determine which product(s) you want to offer on this checkout page and, if you want, you can add order bumps to offer multiple products at the same time and thus increase the average order value.
Upsells
If you want to offer one or more upsell(s) after completing the initial purchase, you can add these under the "Upsells" tab. You can create an upsell page under Shop > Upsells.
Layout
On this tab you can completely customize the look and feel of your checkout page. You can also add so-called "Guarantees" to your payment page to create an extra feeling of trust with your customer.
Countdowns
Add a countdown to let your customers know when your offer expires.
Availability
Limit the amount of available products. After the maximum number of orders has been placed, it is no longer possible for customers to purchase the product. You also have the option to enable live notifications here. This means that customers who are on the checkout page receive a notification when another customer orders the same product.
Thank you page
Select the page that appears after purchase. You can use our template or add your own URL.
Testimonials
Here you can, as the name suggests, add customer testimonials. This creates extra trust with people who visit your checkout page, which can have a conversion-increasing effect.
Settings
Under "Settings" you can change the name of your payment page, the URL and you can indicate whether you want to show the voucher field on the checkout.
When everything is set up as you like, you can click on "View" at the top right to see what the payment page will look like for customers.
